Can diet help you loose weight?
TGIF! Friday is always good.
Today I had another day of classes.
At math, somebody tried to stretch the time, as person was clearly not ready to speak. The task was to explain to the classmates the main point of the chapter from the text book. Next week we are going to have test. The strategi was successful and talk was postponed till next week (due to good reasons - not enough time).
Next was Gastronomy. This subject is getting more and more interesting. Thoughts about cuisine,
why we are eating what we are eating are very useful and interesting. Today we discussed why people choose some food over the others and what could affect their decision.
Then we had Nutritions. We learned about energy we get from food and how we use that energy. This is may be not a new thing, but indeed, if somebody wants to loose weight, it not a question what to eat, it's question what amount to eat. The important that your intake calories per day should be less what you are spending. Only this can reduce weight and nothing else.
In the kitchen (I worked today) was a simple day. I made two simple salads (fruit plate and green salad) and waffles. What I learned is how to cut cantaloupes in a simple way and also that if you want to make waffles crisp, you should increase amount of butter. Good to know!
